M.Com, Ph.D.
Dr. Shikha Makkar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi and has been teaching undergraduate and post graduate students for over a decade now. She has been awarded scholarship at the undergraduate level and has also published and presented various research articles at international and national conferences and has also to her credit the best research paper award at an international conference. She is a Commerce graduate from Jesus and Mary College and Masters in Commerce from University of Delhi. She has been awarded Ph.D. degree from the Department of Commerce, University of Delhi on the topic “Measurement of Spirituality and its impact on students and teachers”.
As part of the Administrative Contributions, she was the Core Committee member for Organizing and Supervision of National Resource Centre 2019, under MHRD, MOOCS platform as part of ARPIT Refresher course in Commerce, Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. SWAYAM is a programme initiated by Government of India and designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of Education Policy viz., access, equity and quality through online teaching. In addition to this she was also a Resource Person for ARPIT Refresher course in Commerce, online teaching on the Topic “Managing Diversity in the Classroom”. Apart from this, she is also a Member of the IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell), Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
