Dr. Mallika Kumar is an Associate Professor for Economics at SRCC. She is the:
-Coordinator & Founder, Office of International Programmes(OIP) at SRCC,
-Coordinator, National Resource Centre(Economics),ARPIT 2019, Ministry of HRD, GoI.
-Coordinator (SRCC),Cultural Council, University of Delhi.
-Coordinator, FICCI Youth Entrepreneurship Connect Initiative 2020.
She completed the Professional Development Course at Harvard University on ‘Managing yourself and leading others’.She has been a member of UNDP Microfinance Solution Exchange & Member of the Committee for London School of Economics India Summit 2016 2017, curated by Difficult Dialogue and The LSE South Asia Centre. She has been a team member as an Expert & Advisor for the evaluation of Central Sector Integrated Scheme on Agriculture Cooperation (CSISAC), undertaken by the AFC, Ministry of Agriculture. She was appointed as Expert by National Apex organization for Cooperatives in India , National Cooperative Union of India(NCUI) for APJ Abdul Kalam Azad Scholarship for Research in Cooperatives in India. Recently, she has been nominated to represent India as Member, International Cooperative Alliance-Asia Pacific(ICA-AP) Committee on Cooperatives in Educational Institutions( ICEI).
With a teaching experience of 28 years, her area of specialization include Financial Cooperatives and Sustainable development.She received her Ph.d from JMI, New Delhi and her work has emphasized on the Rural Financial Cooperatives at National, State, District & Local level in India. She has presented research papers and delivered keynote address /lectures on Cooperatives and Youth, UN SDGs and Women Empowerment in International Conferences & workshops worldwide.She is associated with Saksham, a society for differently abled & plays Sitar in her free time. She is a facilitator, connector, encourager who believes with positivity & passion anything is possible.
