At the beginning of the academic session, the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) came up with its blog to disseminate information about startups and entrepreneurship. The reseach wing conducted an extensive research on the Chinese slowdown and wrote a research paper - ' When the dragon took a jolt'.
On October 27, 2015, EDC organised the Entrepreneurship Summit which provided a platform for students to interact with leading entrepreneurs and change makers. Among the speakers who inspired the students and shared their life experiences were Mr. Akash Gautam ,a top motivational speaker, Mr. Annurag Batra, the chairman of the media giant BW Business World and Mr. Sanjeev Bikhchandani, the founder of InfoEdge which owns Naukri.com. Subsequently, the annual newsletter of the EDC, Entrepost, was released.
The society also organised a session on CV writing by Mr. Sunil Dua, an esteemed and experienced faculty member at T.I.M.E. institute on November 06, 2015.
Held from January 31 to February 01, 2016, the annual entrepreneurship festival of SRCC, Eximius is a meeting point for all those who believe in the magic of passion and power of ideas. The keynote session was by Ms. Jyotsna Sitling, the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship on the Startup India Programme. This was followed by a mentorship session by Mr. Sanjeeva Shivesh, co-founder of the Indian School for Entrepreneurs and Enterprise Development.
EDC provided students with an opportunity to make contacts with the corporate world through its Internship Fair. Students could interact with a variety of startups and subsequently sit for interviews.
